Are there comprehensive documents detailing general and ordering guidelines?

What items are prohibited in the Convention Center? 

The following items are prohibited:

  • Weapons
  • Laser pointers
  • Food and beverage (personal consumption items)
  • Animals (service animals are an exception)
  • Drones/unmanned aerial aircrafts
  • Use of tobacco products (e-cigarettes included)
  • Air horns, noisemakers, fireworks
  • Skateboards, bicycles, Segways, hoverboards, roller skates
  • Any other items deemed to negatively affect the safety or experience of others

 

Can I bring in and set up my own computers within the Convention Center?

Yes. Full-time employees of the exhibiting company or show management personnel, whether personally owned or rented, may set up computers.

 

Is the Convention Center a union facility?

Yes. Based on the needs of your event, certain union jurisdictions apply. Please see your General Service Contractor or Event Manager for more details.

 

As an exhibitor, can I set up my own booth?

Yes. Exhibitors may set and dismantle their own booths provided they use full-time employees of the exhibiting company. Please contact your General Service Contractor to discuss specific union work rules on the exhibit floor and loading dock.

 

Who handles electrical and plumbing services in the Convention Center?

Edlen Electrical provides these services on an exclusive basis. For further information regarding these services, contact Edlen’s onsite office at 216.928.1543.

Limited power is available in all meeting rooms through the convenience outlets and is included in the rental of the meeting space. Additional power may be placed in meeting rooms for an additional fee.

 

Who handles telecommunications and Internet services in the Convention Center?

Our IT Department provides all internet and telecommunications as exclusive services within the center. We offer a wide variety of IT services through our experienced in-house team of technicians. What are the food and beverage options outside and at the Convention Center?

There are plenty of walkable downtown food and beverage options. View our 3D map to see what’s around. Within the Center, you can peruse Levy’s exhibitor catering menu and order directly through them.

The Convention Center has many convenient onsite amenities. These include:

 

Is there parking available near the Convention Center?

Parking is more convenient than ever with a direct connection to the 1,200-spot Huntington Park Garage. Conventioneers can comfortably locate our entrance through the enclosed walkway leading to the Hilton Cleveland Downtown and Center connectorThe garage entrance is located on the North side of Lakeside Avenue (opposite to the Hilton) and payment stations are located near the walkway entrance doors or at the W. 3rd Street exit gate. The direct walkway connector is accessible on the ground floor of the garage, through the marked doors reading ‘Convention Center, Hilton Hotel, and Global Center’.

In addition, there are more than 5,000 walkable parking spaces surrounding our Center provided by city surface lots and garages.
